The songs used in custom maps are NOT generic copies of some MP3 file. There are changes made to the song by the mappers. This can be trimming silence, stretching to match BPM, cutting for time, etc.

What Spotify has, isn’t what the mapper used. It would be a logistic, timing nightmare.
