Most certainly piracy … not sure how anyone can dispute that — whether we’re getting away with it or not.
Facebook will eventually have to answer to the recording industry and the copyright holders should Quest get big enough. It won’t be their call to make (IMHO) at some point.
Oculus TOS are very clear about modifying, decompiling, reverse engineering their software (it’s all in there — I’ve looked).

I’m not incorrect. Copyright violations, synchronization copyrights are being violated, illegal distribution of copyrighted material … none of it is legal; despite getting away with it.
You can disagree and say it “should be legal because it isn’t hurting anyone” (that is a point of another discussion) but I do not believe it is accurate to say “you are incorrect”.
