I believe there are exceptions to every “design” rule.

However, with that said? I believe to “two clicks to anywhere” rule is still a rather good one.

It isn’t about counting clicks, of course — it is about the proper organization and presentation to ensure “minimum effort to reach the desired information”.

With 2,434,234 other results just ONE CLICK back? Designers cannot afford to be cavalier about wasting the users’ time with navigation.
